Aims of the project: The goal of the project is to increase the international competitiveness of Rieter's textile machines in the field of automation of operations and online yarn quality control through continued research and development applying a multidisciplinary approach and using modern numerical simulations and advanced digital analysis of signal and image data. The specific goal of the project is the development and integration of online quality control systems of input raw material and ring yarn into Rieter lines and into the process control and data collection system of spinning mills, to optimize current yarn production technologies based on the obtained analytical data, and thereby achieve a substantial increase in productivity, quality and economy in the production of textile yarns.
