Dlabáček | Aims of the project: The project proposal is focused on the research of a new generation of tungsten-based materials exposed to plasma (NG-PFM, New Generation Plasma Facing Materials) that are able to absorb extreme heat loads under severe plasma instabilities in fusion devices. The aim of the project is 1) research of these NG-PFMs, testing of special protective coatings and verification of a new physical concept to increase the capability to absorb the extreme heat flux from plasma into the first wall of the tokamak, and 2) design and fabrication of a functional component (PFC, Plasma Facing Component) based on the NG-PFM that can withstand the expected extreme conditions comparable to the future DEMO fusion reactor. | Results: | Matějíček J., Martan J., Moskal D., Peters O., Kraft S., Lukáč F., Hajíček M., Brožek V., Löschner U., Schille J.: On the Detection and Removal of Oxides from Laser-Treated Surfaces.
