Aims of the project: The aims of the project are the analysis of experimental data, the development and application of appropriate methods, and simulation of some processes in the JET tokamak, namely:
1) Application of inverse methods for data processing in the JET and development of a software package for inverse data analysis, plasma tomography and deconvolution of spectra
2) Structural analysis of pedestal - a step toward understanding how to improve the performance of fusion devices. Study of pedestal parameters in dependence on the characteristics of plasma discharge, especially between ELMs, in various regimes of tokamak operation
3) Development of a computer program for automatic detection of transition between L and H modes in the JET tokamak
4) Adaptation and extension of EDGE2D fluid code for predictive modeling of interplay between LH induced ionization and ponderomotive force effects in the SOL plasma in ITER-like discharges on JET.
