Cíle projektu: Cílem projektu je analyzovat šíření intenzivních pulzů dolně hybridních vln (LHW) do termonulkeárního plazmatu tokamaku. Injekce takovýchto pulzů může překonat silnou absorpci LHW na elektronech a tím způsobit proniknutí LHW do hloubky plazmatu. Proniknutí, způsobené hlavně změnou rozdělovací funkce elektronů, bude ovlivňováno toroidálními efekty, fluktuacemi plazmatu a ponderomotivními silami u okraje plazmatu. Pro nižší frekvence LHW bude navíc podstatná interakce LHW s částicemi alfa. Obvykle je uvažováno, že tato interakce snižuje účinnost generace vlečeného proudu (LHCD) vlivem Landauova útlumu. Nicméně, za určitých okolností může dojít k opačnému procesu a LHW mohou být zesilovány na úkor energie alfa částic. Cílem našeho projektu je vyhodnotit -analyticky a užitím numerických simulací - všechny tyto jevy. Jeežto podobné problémy se mohou objevit i u jiných druhů vln, budeme studovat obdobné jevy i pro rychlou a iontovou Bernsteinovu vlnu.
