Aims of the project: The project aims to advance optical metrology by developing an interferometer for measuring optical surface shapes, ultimately producing a fully functional prototype with required tests and certificates. The project outputs will ease subsequent interferometer production and sales. The project will leverage a combination of modern approaches that have not yet been fully exploited. The aim is to achieve parameters that surpass those attained by existing devices. Central to the project is developing and calibrating a highly accurate numerical model of the interferometer—a digital twin operating in synergy with the physical device. The project will develop self-calibration techniques and procedures for fully automated measurements, ensuring effective deployment in robotic production lines. |
