Project ID: | FW03010409 | Provider: | Technological Agency of the Czech Republic | Period: | Jan 01, 2021 - Jun 30, 2024 | Recipient -- coordinator: | -- Ing. Štěpán Trousil | Co-recepient(s) / PI(s): | -- Ing. Petr Martínek Institute of Plasma Physics, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague -- RNDr. Pavel Pintr Ph.D.
| Co-investigators from IPP | J. Kovačičinová, P. Sitek, J. Václavík, R. Doleček, J. Kredba, D. Macner, M. Veselý, J. Nečásek, J. Budasz | Aims of the project: The main goal is to develop the technology of Extreme High-Speed Laser Cladding of thin layers with metallurgical bonding in order to increase the corrosion and mechanical resistance of highly stressed rotating parts of critical components. The development of new technology will be divided into 2 basic directions:
1) Development of Extreme High-Speed Laser Cladding technology for outer diameters
2) Development of Extreme High-Speed Laser Cladding technology for inner diameters
As part of the development of each direction, 2x prototypes and 1x proven technology should be created.
For LaserTherm, the development of a new technology should mean a significant increase in international competitiveness through the development of special technology. | |
