Aims of the project: The primary aim of the ADVENTURE project is to strengthen the Thermal Spraying (TS) coating technology by introduction of the Laser Surface Texturing (LST), a clean, flexible, reproducible, environmentally friendly and resource-efficient technology, to the substrate preparation.
Specific objectives are:
OBJ 1: Development and up-scaling of the LST laser technology to enable longer lifetime of thermal spray coated components and new coating-substrate combinations.
OBJ 2: Development of optimised coating-substrate interfaces by use of the LST laser technology as an interface preparation technique before application of thermal spray coatings
OBJ 3: Development of innovative surfaces and interfaces by use of the LST laser technology and thermal spray technologies
OBJ 4: Preparation of conception for application of results in targeted industrial sectors |
